Thank you to everyone for your patience and assistance with the Millersburg bus! The main drive belt(serpentine belt) broke, therefore causing the bus to lose power and slightly overheat. Ms. Maria did a great job, ensuring that students were safe and secure! In conjunction with the school office, they strictly released students to individuals on their emergency contact records while waiting for the bus to be repaired. For remaining students, other drivers assisted after their routes were completed.

If you have a bus rider and have not signed up for Remind notifications, we will be sending home a second batch of flyers this week.

Unfortunately, the Millersburg bus has broken down. If any parent or guardian that is listed on the emergency contact form is able to come pick up their children, that would be greatly appreciated.

Bus is located on S. Porter Rd. approximately 1 mile south of M 68 

We are trying our best to get it back on the road, but the mechanic is a few miles away

A heavy fog has rolled in along some of the routes , please allow a 5-10 minute variance in pickup times before calling. Thank you!

There is a heavy fog this morning, please try to have your children out to their stop a couple minutes early, especially those at the first few stops. Also, for safety purposes, if they are sanding at the end of the driveway, please have them out there with some sort of flashlight for visibility and safety!

Here you’ll see the link for the updated transportation guidelines for the 2026/27 school year. Please take your time and look through them. We are hopeful to have them also included in the student handbook, along with the school website.

🚌 BACK-TO-SCHOOL SAFETY REMINDER! 🚌

School is almost back in session, and our buses will soon be back on the road! As we prepare for the first day of school on Monday, August 31st, please help us make sure every student gets to school—and back home—safely. ❤️

🛑 See flashing red lights? STOP!
When a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, come to a complete stop. On an undivided roadway, traffic in both directions must stop.

🚫 Never pass a stopped school bus when its red lights are flashing and stop arm is extended.

🚸 Expect buses. Expect kids.
Slow down, stay alert and give students plenty of time and space to cross. Children can be unpredictable, so always be prepared to stop.

📵 Put the distractions away.
A few seconds looking at a phone, changing the radio or taking your eyes off the road can be the same few seconds a child steps into the roadway.

⚠️ Remember: Always follow applicable traffic laws and signs.

If the lights are flashing… don’t try passing!

Those flashing lights aren’t just protecting a bus. They’re protecting a child. 💛

Please slow down in school zones, watch for students and buses, and give the road your full attention—not just during the first week, but EVERY school day.

Not technically transportation, but it kind of is because we were able to safely get them to and from the U.P. Go CARDINALS!

To get a jump on the school year transportation roster, please take a moment to complete this form. Completion of this form does not replace the need to come visit transportation during the open house, but it does help us start to realign the routes accordingly. Thank you
