There is a heavy fog this morning, please try to have your children out to their stop a couple minutes early, especially those at the first few stops. Also, for safety purposes, if they are sanding at the end of the driveway, please have them out there with some sort of flashlight for visibility and safety!

Here you’ll see the link for the updated transportation guidelines for the 2026/27 school year. Please take your time and look through them. We are hopeful to have them also included in the student handbook, along with the school website.

🚌 BACK-TO-SCHOOL SAFETY REMINDER! 🚌

School is almost back in session, and our buses will soon be back on the road! As we prepare for the first day of school on Monday, August 31st, please help us make sure every student gets to school—and back home—safely. ❤️

🛑 See flashing red lights? STOP!
When a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, come to a complete stop. On an undivided roadway, traffic in both directions must stop.

🚫 Never pass a stopped school bus when its red lights are flashing and stop arm is extended.

🚸 Expect buses. Expect kids.
Slow down, stay alert and give students plenty of time and space to cross. Children can be unpredictable, so always be prepared to stop.

📵 Put the distractions away.
A few seconds looking at a phone, changing the radio or taking your eyes off the road can be the same few seconds a child steps into the roadway.

⚠️ Remember: Always follow applicable traffic laws and signs.

If the lights are flashing… don’t try passing!

Those flashing lights aren’t just protecting a bus. They’re protecting a child. 💛

Please slow down in school zones, watch for students and buses, and give the road your full attention—not just during the first week, but EVERY school day.
