Our hotel in Cork, Ireland is such a beauty!! It used to be a mansion constructed for the Newenham family, wealthy Anglo-Irish landowners. Influential in politics and economic thought in 18th-century in Cork.
The property began as a Georgian country house built around 1710–1715. It officially opened as a hotel in 1997.
The estate was known as Maryborough House. It’s an elegant Georgian Architecture, surrounded by 18 acres of gardens. Back then, it was used for hosting local social gatherings and high-society events.
It was named after Queen Mary I of England (Mary Tudor).

Today, it’s one of Cork’s best examples of a restored Georgian Estate. I have to say, that for being 316 years old, the property smells like a JW Marriott Hotel, no musty or weird old smells anywhere. It’s smells like flowers and everything is new and super clean, zero dust. The carpet throughout the entire property looks like new. The staff?? AMAZING customer service. We have been here 3 days now and have been treated like royalty (literally). We decided to have tea last night in the reception area by the fireplace, and not only they brought the tea from the restaurant, but they moved furniture around so we could have a table for the tea right in front of the fireplace (without having to ask). We also needed something in the room past midnight, not even 2 mins later, delivered.

The upscale/luxury property is known now for being a popular venue for weddings and conferences (one wedding happening today) and although it has been restored, it has maintained its identity as a heritage property, blending old and new.

It has a very nice spa, called ESPA (high end brand). And an Award-winning restaurant (AA Rosette) on site called Bellini, known for upscale Irish cuisine, using local ingredients. We had lunch the day we arrived and dinner the following night, the food and service was OUTSTANDING!!!

3rd from last picture, used to be the owner’s suite. It looks like a ballroom now but it’s where they slept. When I walked in I felt so many good vibes, for some reason….And no, the mansion is not known for being haunted.

Totally recommend this hotel in Ireland!! 🥰

Llevo 27 años en la industria de viajes…y si quieren cuentos y consejos, preguntenme, que tengo de sobra! 27 años, oistes? Gabriel Aviles 😂 pero siempre que me pregunten que cual es la mejor aerolinea, o mi preferida, mi respuesta va a ser la misma: Los lounge, el estatus, los extras, nada de eso determina, mi linea aerea preferida siempre va a ser, la que llega y sale a tiempo!!
Hoy mi aerolinea preferida es American Airlines, porque llevamos una semana sin estar en casita!! Y aquí vamos!!! Justo a tiempo!! Aunque mi gorra diga lo contrario! Prefiero llegar a tiempo! ✈️

🌎 Cosas que poca gente sabe 🌴

¡En Estados Unidos sí existen hoteles todo incluido! 🇺🇸✨
Aunque la mayoría no ofrece bebidas alcohólicas como los del Caribe, hay opciones increíbles donde todo está pensado para tu comodidad.

Uno de los grandes beneficios de hospedarte siempre en hoteles Marriott es que vas acumulando noches y, con el tiempo, alcanzas un estatus élite. A ese nivel, muchas propiedades te dan acceso gratuito al lounge:
🍳 Desayuno desde las 6:30 a.m.
🥪 Meriendas y aperitivos hasta las 10 p.m.
☕️ Bebidas incluidas
🌇 Te entregan la habitación mas temprano de lo normal y puedes devolverla hasta las 4pm, en vez de lo standard, que es las 11am.

¡Y todo sin costo adicional! Aunque no se considera “todo incluido” oficialmente, prácticamente no tendrás que gastar más…ideal si disfrutas comer ligero o aprovechar el día explorando.

En GTD Travel, creemos que no hay mejor consejo que el que viene de un agente de viajes que ha vivido la experiencia en carne propia. 🌟
No todo lo que se ve bonito en un folleto o en redes sociales es realmente bueno.
Por eso, solo recomendamos lugares donde personalmente nos hemos hospedado o que conocemos de primera mano.

This ATV, Zipline with lunch included half day tour to Riviera Maya from Cancun with transportation included by was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!! One of our favorites so far!! ❤️

Te juro, que en tus últimos días no vas a mencionar cuánto tienes, ni que tu negocio fue reconocido el “mejor del área” por una estación de radio. Ni vas a mencionar tu promedio académico. O la cantidad de seguidores que tienes en las plataformas sociales. Vas a mencionar a tu esposa/esposo, o a tus hijos o a la enfermera, y si todavía puedes hablar, vas a pedirle que te aguante la mano y vas a recordar y decir “Hicimos un buen recorrido, verdad?”
Viajen hoy, mañana no está garantizado. Que lo único que nos vamos a llevar son las memorias….
