My fellow itchy-footed travel friends...you CAN travel right now! I keep checking to see where you can go. There are still a lot of places that don't require a negative PCR, like Costa Rica! Bookmark this page, it can help you plan!
Also, I need to say, yes, we need to be mindful of our actions right now and travel smart. Wear a mask, follow social distancing guidelines, do the right thing. But I really want to draw attention to those in the hospitality industry who are really hurting right now. If you feel comfortable doing so, please...eat at a local restaurant...stay in a hotel....take a flight....(delta is still blocking the middle seat!) support those in the tourism industry as much as you feel comfortable doing so.
You can even purchase trip parts and vouchers for next year, that will help! People in the travel and hospitality industry are really struggling right now and could use your support (especially in other countries and areas that thrive on tourism)! This virus is awful, no doubt about it. But it is also awful to see how much people are hurting, and many succumbing to financial hardship. Thank you, and please feel free to ask travel questions!
