Joined the FLI Family on June 05, 2006

Sherri, an FLI veteran of over 15 years, relays her experiences and insight into the world of transportation and logistics and her tenure at FLI.

Memorable moment or a story that highlights her experience with FLI:

“I’ve been here since the days of people sending BOLs by fax. The paper would jam, the fax machine would overheat, and the customer would have to send information more than once because of this!”
She goes on to add that “tech changes of been amazing and made everything better. We are much more effective and can process so much more than we were able to. We don’t have to call to schedule every single carrier.”

If Sherri could change on thing about our industry that would improve it dramatically, it would be:

“Automation, although losing interaction with people is a worry.

A fun fact about her career in shipping, transportation, and logistics is:

“I worked with Lance (National Sales Director with FLI) early on shipping lamp parts with another company. As FLI started growing, Lance realized that he needed help. I was craving an environment with colleagues, so I went for it, and it’s obviously been a great decision.”
