You're a pro. Time to work where that counts.
"We respect our drivers" is in every hiring ad in this industry. It means nothing on its own, so here's what it looks like in practice.
You're a driver, not a dock worker. No touch freight. Nobody hands you a pallet jack after eleven hours of driving.
Your truck gets looked after. We run late-model Volvos and we fix them in our own shop. That's not a perk — it's the difference between a two-day repair and a week parked in somebody else's queue while the miles go to someone else.
Your week is worth planning. 3,000–4,000 miles, up to 85¢ per mile, weekly pay. Steady re**er lanes instead of whatever scraps are left on the board Friday afternoon.
Someone answers the phone. 24/7 support, after hours included. If you've ever sat with a unit alarm at 2 a.m. listening to a phone ring out, you know what that's worth.
And we hire accordingly. CDL A, 6 months of verified experience, 23 or older. The bar is high on purpose — re**er freight doesn't forgive guesswork, and the drivers already here earned their spot.
If you've been doing this long enough to be good at it, you shouldn't have to prove it every week.
