Our Story
Aurora Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1988 by Tom White who is still the owner and operator today. We were founded on the basis of outstanding customer service and we have grown to become the largest distributor and fabricator of thermosets and thermoplastics in the market today.
In the past 30 years we have grown from a small operation out of Ballwin, Missouri to a corporation with seven locations throughout North America. Our headquarters is centrally located in Pacific, Missouri. Our headquarters facility has continued to expand over the years to make room for increased inventory and new technology necessary to serve our extremely diverse and ever-expanding customer base.
In 1994 we underwent our first expansion and established ATI South in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The opening of this location allowed ATI to better service all of it’s customers on the East Coast creating shorter lead times and better costs for shipping!
In 2001 we purchased ATI Page located in Pacific, Missouri. With the addition of this facility we were able to develop business in the acrylic side of plastics. This facility is also where we have our punch press lines for thinner materials.
