Last night, the EAA - The Spirit of Aviation honored Rob Holland and other Hall of Fame Sport Aviation inductees with a ceremonial dinner in the Eagle Hangar of the EAA Museum. Congratulations again to Rob as well as the other inductees on this incredible achievement!

Rob's contributions to aerobatics and aviation are difficult to be measured and put into words...he is and will continue to be missed by all of us.

We are grieving the loss of a remarkable soul, our dear friend, Rob Holland.

Rob was a legend in the sky, known around the world for his unmatched skill in aerobatics, but even more so for his kindness, humility, and fierce dedication to his craft. He didn't just fly, he inspired. He gave everything to the pursuit of excellence, not for applause, but to push the limits of what was possible.

On April 24, 2025, Rob tragically lost his life in an accident at Langley AFB. The aviation world has lost one of its brightest lights, and those of us who knew him have lost a true friend and role model.

The 2023 US National Aerobatic Championships is in the books. It was a well run and well attended competition with some excellent flying. Congrats to everyone who came out to participate. To everyone who competed in Unlimited, thank you for the constant inspiration to push myself further than I ever thought I could get.
