We sponsor regular meetings, rail-fan trips, the annual Railroad Hobby Show, the Northeast Large Scale Train Show, and a modular model railroad group.

The Amherst Railway Society if offering a complete Z-scale railroad for sale. The railroad is approximately 3’ x 6’ and includes structures, locomotives, and rolling stock. All scenery is complete. DC power. This is an impressive European-themed railroad.
