Driving through Prince Edward Island National Park, in Canada, we saw some of the destruction, caused by Hurricane Fiona. The severe storm surges, and torrential rainfall, caused historic damage. It downed millions of trees, and knocked out power to nearly the entire island. Ultimately though, restoring this landscape is not just about preserving the park's beauty, but about rebuilding PEI’s vital natural defense system, against the increasing threat of future severe storms. This land, was historically stewarded by the Mi'kmaq, who named the island Epekwitk, meaning cradled on the waves. They had inhabited these lands for over 11,000 years, before Jacques Cartier, a prominent French maritime explorer, arrived on June 29, 1534.

We are unboxing, the WAVLINK, AX3000, Outdoor WiFi 6 Extender. Inside a bag, we find the power supply, that is used to provide power to the power over ethernet convertor. And the final small package, contains mounting screws, along with wall anchors, that can be used to mount the extender to a wall. Underneath the foam packaging, we find all of the documentation. If you already have a WAVLINK mesh router, the AX3000 Outdoor Extender can use mesh technology to expand your existing WiFi coverage. Next is a small booklet, containing important directions before using. It includes information on how to select the best location, aiming for a height between 10 to 20 feet, with a clear line of sight to the areas you wish to cover.
