1999 Eliminator Daytona – back on the water and running strong.

This one came in with both 540s running poorly and the boat steering badly.

Here's what we did:

Diagnosed and recalibrated the Holley Terminator X EFI on both engines

Corrected fuel pressure and repaired the fuel delivery system

Cleaned the injectors and replaced plugs, fuel filters and oil

Moved the fuel pump and ignition power feeds off the starter stud to a direct battery connection

Rebuilt the IMCO lower unit with a new prop shaft

Swapped the props to the correct drives and reset the shift cables, which fixed the steering

After multiple on-water tuning sessions, both engines now run clean through the whole RPM range, and the boat hit 92 MPH on the last test run.

Performance boat not running or handling the way it should? We do marine engine repair, EFI tuning and drive work right here in Parker, AZ.
