Cheaper isn’t always better. 🚫

A client recently booked the lowest rate they could find.

The movers took payment and left mid-move for paperwork. We don’t do that.

Our paperwork is digital, we never leave mid-job, and you don’t pay until the job’s fully done and you’re happy.

That’s how it should be. 🙌🏼

The truck is packed. The doors are closed. Everyone’s ready to head to the new place.

But before you pull away, do one final walkthrough of the entire property.

Check the closets.
Open the cabinets.
Look through the garage.
Check the backyard and side yards.
Don’t forget sheds, attics, or other storage areas.

It only takes a few minutes, but it can save you from realizing halfway across town that something important was left behind.

Moving-day rule: Nobody leaves until the final walkthrough is done. ✅

The cheapest moving quote isn’t always the cheapest move. 👀

Before you automatically book the lowest number, take a closer look at what you’re actually comparing.

1️⃣ Compare what’s included.
Are you getting the same level of service, equipment, crew, and protection?

2️⃣ Ask about additional fees and minimums.
A low hourly rate can look great until other costs start getting added.

3️⃣ Make sure they understand the move.
Stairs, long carries, truck access, oversized furniture, inventory… these details can change how long a move takes and what it requires.

Don’t compare moving companies on one number alone.

The lowest hourly rate doesn’t always mean the lowest final bill. 🚚

When you pack your own boxes (PBO), it might seem cost-effective, but here’s the catch: if something breaks inside, the moving company can’t take responsibility for how it was packed.

If we pack it, we can ensure it’s protected… and we stand behind it.

There’s a right way to move a lamp. 💡

Lamps might seem like one of the easier things to move, but they’re actually pretty easy to damage if you don’t know what you’re doing.

The shade should come off. The bulb should come out. The cord should be secured. And everything should be properly protected before it ever goes onto the truck.

Then comes the part most people don’t think about: where you put it.

A perfectly wrapped lamp can still get damaged if a heavy box or piece of furniture shifts into it during transport.

It’s another one of those little details that can make a big difference on moving day.
