It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of one of our own. Todd Anderson has been an important part of our Lakeside Inn family. He’s managed our inn, and did so much behind the scenes that most people can’t see. Not to mention, he has been a close friend to Alan and Janet for many many years. Our hearts are broken without him, and there will be such a void in our home. Todd, we love you. We miss you, and we hope you Rest In Peace!

We want to wish our owners Janet and Alan a very Happy Anniversary! Today marks 31 years of marriage. In that time, they’ve had up and downs, raised three beautiful children, gained an amazing daughter in law, and became grandparents to the cutest little girl imaginable! They’ve been great friends to many, and have been each other’s rocks during hard times. Not to mention running a very successful business! We are so thankful for everything you two do for Lakeside Inn! Cheers to you today, and every other day! May you have another 31 years of happiness and health! Happy Anniversary to Alan and Janet!!!

We would like to wish everyone a very Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Here at Lakeside Inn, we are proud of our Irish heritage! So raise a glass and make a toast for a safe and healthy 2021!

In early 2018, Alan and Janet Wartman first decided to embark on the journey of opening Lakeside Inn. It has always been one of Janet’s dreams to own a bed and breakfast. So, when the opportunity first appeared, they couldn’t look away. It was love at first sight with this beautiful property.

Lakeside Inn sits right across from Maple Lake. It is only minutes from the heart of downtown Paw Paw. Enjoy nearby wineries and breweries such as St. Julian Winery, Warner Vineyards and Paw Paw Brewing Co. It’s also 30 minutes away from Kalamazoo, which has something for everyone! Visit The Kalamazoo Valley Museum, Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, or the Air Zoo.
