Affordable Working Solutions

October is Creole Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the cultures, traditions, and connections that bring our Caribbean communities together.

Affordable Working Solutions is proud to celebrate our owner, Frederick Dubique, and his roots in Dominica 🇩🇲 . In Dominica, October celebrations include Jounen Kwéyòl, honoring the island’s Creole language and culture.

Wherever home is, we’re here to help keep loved ones connected.

Happy Creole Heritage Month! 🍲🪗🪘

A barrel pickup led to an unexpected discovery.

With the customer’s permission, we accessed their garage to collect the barrels while they were away. During loading, we heard what sounded like a leak. We contacted the customer and received approval to inspect the barrel.

We opened it, found and isolated the source of the sound, then repacked the contents.

We can come to you! Message us to arrange your next pickup or shipment. 📦

A customer’s review means a lot to us. 🇩🇲

Mary and Orintha shared how Affordable Working Solutions helped them coordinate their needs with friends and family in the U.S. while finalizing their build in Dominica. Fred sent shipping dates for the critical roof-repair products they were unable to source on the island, helping them coordinate their project timeline and shipment.

We’re grateful they chose AWS and took the time to share their experience.

A secure shipment starts with proper preparation.📦 ✅

This customer-packed pallet needed additional support before it could safely begin its journey. The AWS team added plywood to protect the cargo from the pressure of the straps, secured the load for greater stability, and tightly wrapped the entire pallet.

The result: a stronger, more stable shipment prepared for transport.

Giving back to Dominica, one young learner at a time. 🇩🇲📚

Affordable Working Solutions proudly collaborated with the Lions Club of Dominica to provide books, puzzles, building blocks, learning cards, and other educational materials to Mahaut Preschool, Massacre Preschool, and Charlotte Preschool in New Town.

This initiative is especially meaningful to AWS owner Frederick Dubique, who is originally from Massacre and is a former member of the Leo Club of Dominica. The opportunity to give back reflects his continued connection to Dominica and a shared commitment to supporting its children and communities.

We are grateful to the Lions Club of Dominica for helping place these resources into the hands of young learners, where they can inspire literacy, creativity, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning.

At Affordable Working Solutions, we do more than ship what matters. We invest in what matters. 💙💛
