I do not do residential I started doing residential upholstery in 2014 with a store front.

Here I also upcycled furniture as well as had handcrafted and vintage booths in Oskaloosa. I did that full time for 3 years until I closed and got a real job. I still did work on the side. In the spring of 2020 I started doing upholstery full time, this time focusing on recreational items such as boats and campers. I do restaurant booths as well. I do not do auto. My current project is this dinette for an rv. Took everything out and have started to pattern with the new vinyl. My vinyl won't flake years down the road!

But Christina it's missing the poles! You are right! This customer wanted a cover to just cover the pontoon in the slip. It's always inside other than in the slip, and it doesn't need a big circus tent.

Each cover is unique and custom to each boat. That's what makes me different than others.

Why don't I have business hours? Why do I say do not come to the shop? Why am I by appointment only?

Here's a prime example. This is before, I wish I would have gotten the after... anyway, I picked up 2 of these exam tables from the hospital. I quickly brought them to my shop and started redoing them. Once I got done, I brought them back to the hospital. They were gone for maybe 4 hours today.

Had I not been able to focus and do the work, the hospital would have been without these for longer, which is a problem. Could I have done this overnight so they wouldn't have had to go without? Yes, but I dont work at night.

Did I leave my shop at 2pm so I could deliver these in Oskaloosa? Yes! Did I go back to the shop afterward? No. Why? Look at your local gas prices.

I don't always have a special assignment like this, but when I have a tight schedule- being able to focus on work and not visitors really helps me get project done and out the door so I can get to the others.

Ok I'm over ranting as I feel you get the point now. O yes, I won't be in the shop Thursday or Friday.... again another reason I don't have "hours" and to not just stop by. I'll be working out of the shop those days.
