Here's a look at flying at PGC over the past 2 months:
We've had over 877 flights this year. 474 being training fleets. Total flight hours across 61 operating days total to 547 hours.
PGC Encampment
A few weeks ago we held the annual PGC encampment which provided a week long stretch of flying for members, however Canadian wildfire smoke cut off the last few days operations. The event was a great social activity with many members camping and hanging out after operations ended.

We've had some fairly good weather this year. PGC pilots aren't just flying at PGC, but at other locations as well. Julia, Adam, and Joe travelled to Mid-Atlantic Soaring Association for their xc camp, and had some nice days of seminars, flying, and social with mentors and other pilots.
The XC team also plans to travel to Caesar Creek Soaring Club in a few weeks for the Soaring Society of America Region 6 Sports contest as well as contests in Wurtsboro during September, and MASA again in October.
Special shout out to Ben V who is enjoying some amazing weather in southern France right now!
Over the past 2 months, Alain D flew the longest flight, travelling 198 miles, just over 300km!
