Sicily in spring has a different rhythm. 🌿

Long sunny days, landscapes at their greenest, flowers everywhere, markets full of seasonal produce, fresh seafood, local wines and flavors you can truly experience only here.

From Palermo to Taormina, from Syracuse and Ortigia to the slopes of Mount Etna, our **May 14–23, 2027 Sicily small group journey** is designed to experience the island slowly and deeply: its history, its food, its villages, its vineyards and those moments that make a trip feel truly personal.

We’ll walk through ancient places, cook with a Sicilian chef, taste wines near Etna, stay in beautiful small hotels and leave space for one of the most important parts of traveling in Italy: simply enjoying where you are.

**Sicily: beauty, drama, mystery and history.**
And spring may just be the most beautiful time to discover it.

Our group is intentionally small and spaces are limited.

In Italy, a tomato is never just a tomato. 🍅

There are hundreds of local varieties, each with its own shape, flavor and story.

Fresh in a Caprese, slowly cooked into a sauce, rubbed onto bread, baked, preserved or simply enjoyed with olive oil and salt: in the video, you will see only a few of its many lives.

The tomato may have arrived in Italy from far away, but today it is impossible to imagine Italian cuisine without it.

Which Italian tomato dish could you never give up?

In Italy, a beautifully tailored suit is never simply clothing.
It is proportion, character and craftsmanship, shaped by skilled hands and made for one person alone.

During our Milan Fashion & Lifestyle for Gentlemen tour, guests will explore the city’s most elegant fashion districts and enjoy a private appointment inside one of Milan’s most renowned tailoring houses.

Because true Italian style does more than follow fashion. It reveals personality.

Sicily is not simply a backdrop. It is a muse.

For decades, this extraordinary island has inspired Dolce & Gabbana, one of Italy’s most iconic fashion houses.

And today, looking at the brand’s social pages, one has the feeling of seeing a love letter to Sicily: Taormina, the Mediterranean light, ancient architecture, local traditions and craftsmanship often take center stage.

The clothes seem to belong to the landscape because, in many ways, they were born from it.

Perhaps this is what makes Italian style so distinctive: it never comes from fashion alone. It comes from a place, a history and a way of life.

Have you ever seen a land with a personality as strong as Sicily’s?

Why does the size of a travel group matter?

Because twelve people can enter the little family restaurant with six tables.

Because everyone can hear the guide without following a raised umbrella.

Because there is time to ask questions, change plans, linger over lunch and learn one another’s names.

Because a small group can feel less like a tour and more like a beautifully organized journey among friends.

Giovanna designs each Discover My Italy itinerary as an experience for the mind, the senses and the soul. The number of guests is part of that design.

Small groups make room for places, conversations and invitations that larger tours must pass by.

And perhaps most importantly, they make room for something wonderfully unpredictable: genuine friendship.

Have you ever returned from a journey with a new friend?

The internet is very useful for reserving a hotel room. It is less useful when you would like to meet the artisan whose family has worked in the same workshop for generations. Or enter a private garden normally hidden behind a centuries-old gate. Or enjoy lunch in a vineyard where the owner opens one more bottle because the conversation has become interesting.

These moments begin with relationships, trust and local knowledge. They take years to build. This is why Giovanna keeps exploring Italy personally, returning to the places she loves and the people who bring them to life.

A journey can include beautiful hotels and celebrated museums. It should. But the moments guests remember years later are the ones that open only when someone already knows the door, and the name of the person behind it. That door is what she gives you.

Ten famous places anyone can book. The life of one is something you are invited into.

Where in Italy would you like us to open a door for you?

A proper Italian dinner has very little interest in your schedule.

First, there is the aperitivo. Then the menu must be discussed, recommendations considered and stories exchanged. Someone orders wine. Someone else says, “Just a little,” before accepting a generous portion.

The plates arrive slowly, as they should. Conversation wanders. Dessert is debated. Coffee appears. Then perhaps a digestivo, because it would be impolite to leave too quickly.

This is not inefficient service.

It is an entirely different understanding of time.

Some of the most memorable moments Giovanna plans are not visits or excursions. They are evenings when everyone relaxes, the table becomes louder, and people who were strangers a few days earlier begin to feel like old friends.

Italy reminds us that time enjoyed is never time wasted.

Who would you invite to stay at the table with you until midnight?

Palermo is a city you feel it.

In its golden churches, lively markets, elegant palaces and sun-warmed streets, beauty and chaos live side by side.

There is history everywhere, but also life: voices calling from market stalls, the scent of street food, balconies overflowing with flowers, and the sea never far away.

Palermo is intense, generous and wonderfully imperfect.

A city with a soul of its own.
