Once a blade is dull put it away for sharpening. If you keep using it it loads up with hair and you see what I can the elusive blade caterpillar. Hard to see until you take the blade apart. This mostly happens to the knockoff Amazon/Temu Blades.

Before and After.. only if you can scratch and sniff your screen. You can guess what the before blades smell like... Overheated blades cause this orange residue from the burned hair and dander due to a extremely hot blade. A few drops of oil properly applied will prevent this and increase the blade performance.

Ceramic cutter on a 30 blade under a snap-on comb is a risk. The seconds you hear the chinge noise you likely broke the teeth on the cutter.

All is not lost.. we will replace the broken ceramic cutter. Choice from Steel or another ceramic. We recommend a new steel as its stronger than the fragile ceramic on a 30 blade.
