This message below is a screenshot of a manufacturer that explains the knockoff blade issues and why they are not suitable for sharpening and are a waste of money. Please consider to buy quality and invest in your equipment.

Loud shears after sharpening? Check the inside Ride/Hone line on inside cutting edge of the blade for a missing ride/hone line. This line is required for a smooth action of the shear. Poor sharpening techniques will remove this and the shear will be loud and crunchy feeling. We have the technique of keeping the required ride/hone line and also the technology to repair/restore it if removed or damaged.

Welcome to August... The Dog days of Summer. Reminder to change your blade drive.

Pro Tip: put blue thread locker on your screws to prevent them from falling out. The Manufacturer puts it on there from the factory but it wears off over time. You can buy BLUE threadlocker in liquid and stick. I little bit goes a long way.

Clipper service: use the most recent version of the blade drive. Andis has updated the blade drive a few times over the last 10 years and the most current version is #20659.

This picture is showing the older version with metal bar #20651 but that drive has not been made in many years. Please do not use aftermarket knockoff parts. Use the proven OEM parts that the manufacturer has produced. They only come prepackaged in single packs.
