I have been know to have a little potluck pool party every week I’m in town and my boys have been super at keeping my yard party ready. What yard work can they do for you? Blow and now? Edge and trim?

My sons (and their friends) have been taking care of my yard for the last few years and it’s so great to have the yard blown and the grass mowed every week. They trim the tree and bushes as needed and they have done a great job. Ian is looking for a few yards to blow and mow in Ahwatukee on a regular basis. He is putting himself through ASU and the goal is
“first degree, debt free.”
Would you like a strong and reliable ASU student to come do your yard every week or trim your bushes once a month? What do you need? My back yard takes up to an hour to blow and mow. That would be $75. Adding bush trimming to line up with your bulk trash pick up would be at his hourly rate. What odd jobs can Ian do for you?

Ian and Drew have been working on a rock refresher. First they moved the current rock from one area of the yard to another. Then a new batch of rock was ordered and they are spreading the new rock from the pile dumped on the driveway to the original spot. Using these enormous shovel scoops makes it go faster. But each shovel full is very heavy. No problem for these guys. Hourly rate for moving existing rock. By the ton rate for moving new rock from a dumped pile. What can these strong guys do for you!

Before Ian and Max head out to do odd jobs, I love to take a quick photo. I have 10 years of odd jobs photos.
Sure love these hardworking young men! What can they do for you?

Someone mentioned bulk trash in a post and so I had to go look for this photo. Sometimes my bulk trash pile looks like this! I couldn’t do it without the help of these strong athletic students to do my heavy lifting odd jobs for me. What can the guys do for you!?

Tracy is the short one. Ian is the tallest. Nathan is the sweetest & blondest. Carl is the DIY Dad setting the hard work example. Tracy (that’s me) makes the posts, answers messages and makes the odd jobs schedule. This is how Tracy helps her sons pay for university. First degree, debt free, is the goal. We call it a family project to help each other succeed. Christian started the odd jobs almost 10 years ago with Ian and Nathan as helpers. Nathan did the odd jobs while Ian was in Africa. Now Ian does the odd jobs while at ASU and Nathan is now serving a local service mission. Ian has some helpers who are athlete seniors at DV high school. If someone is going through a hardship, they can hire just Ian and Nathan will come as volunteer service. Or one can get just Nathan as a local service project if he is available. During the weekdays, Ian can be found at ASU in the mornings and doing odd jobs in the afternoons. Nathan can be found volunteering at Project Cure in the warehouse (it’s like Doctors Without Borders for medical supplies) and Tracy can be found on the phone in Facebook looking for odd jobs, helping with Christian’s sweet little new baby, or helping families with baby sleep consulting.
They go all over the East Valley. DIY Moving, rearranging furniture, assembly, yard work, bulk trash carry outs, marketplace pick ups, holiday lights and other odd jobs.
What can they do for you?

Ian is out doing tall strong guy things this morning for neighbors. Yard work and helping with high installed tech, and things that may involve a ladder like light bulbs and cleaning ceiling fans. What can he do for you?

This last week, Ian Spackman was mostly working with Drew. Ian helped move a family in North Phoenix, hung valences, cleaned out a garage, moved an elliptical and other things out for bulk trash, skimmed a pool and helped a neighbor get a heavy yard machine out of his truck and assembled a yard shed. What can he do for you?

Ian Spackman makes it look like this bookshelves weighs nothing. That’s what 2 hours of weight lifting every day does for you. What can Ian move for you? This is how he pays for ASU.

Ian is 6’6” and he trims up my tree’s overgrowth to the perfect height. I love how tall and strong he is and when he does my yard work, I just love looking out my windows at my trimmed up yard.
Ian is looking for a few yards to add to his monthly rotation.
This is how he pays for ASU.
