Had the honors to be a boat captain at the Phoenix Junior Bassmasters for Dylan Maxons Daughter and her cousin today at Apache lake. Had a great time teaching them and watching them grow their passion for fishing. The day started off tough and super windy but the weather got nice and they changed up their technique and started catching fish. I’d definitely do it again.

Back from the WON BASS US open and cleaning the boat out getting ready for a local derby at lake pleasant this weekend to get back on the horse. I had a blast hanging out with all my buddies. Got to pre fish for 4 days had one good day of pre fish and struggled the other days. Thought we had a little something figured out but I was wrong,brought in a small limit day one that had me way down the leaderboard. Decided to scratch everything and just go fishing on day 2 doing what I like to do and we should have had a mega bag but we lost a 5+ smallie a 4+ largemouth and a 2+ largemouth and was only able to bring back 3 fish that moved me up 25 spots we were on the right fish but when its not your day its not your day. Already looking forward to fishing the whole won bass season next year!

1990 champion 🐊 GatorStep all finished up and ready to hit the water for the weekend

We got rid of the grip tape nose pad added a pad for the passenger console and put pads where the old style handrails use to be. Super happy with how this came out!
