The new hangar at Monett Regional is coming together fast!

Highway 97 South at highway 60 at Yonkerville was closed today as the round a bout project shifts to the south side. You can still get straight through on 60 to and from Monett. However now you can’t go south on 97 from 60. You can get to the airport going south on Farm Road 1020 if you are coming from the west or by going south on Farm Road 1040 from the east. Then take Farm Road 2025 toward the airport. The confusion is at 97 and Farm Road 2025 where there are a couple of signs saying the road is closed. You are allowed to go through the spaced signs to get to the airport. Airport Manager Tessa Bunch explains.
