As the prime theme park season begins to wind down as cooler weather blows in, take advantage of lower wait times at your favorite local parks! Weekends are much less busy this time of year (apart from Halloween nighttime events and well, Dollywood) and it’s my favorite time of year to get on all my favorite rides.

Is there a better way than enjoying Happily Ever After with your family to end the night at a theme park? Asking for a friend. My favorite spot to watch Happily Ever After (don’t come for me) is actually behind the castle closer to the carousel - you avoid a big chunk of the crowds and you’re closer to many popular attractions after the fireworks - which have SIGNIFICANTLY lower wait times. Riding rides after the fireworks is one of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World - lower crowds, no sun beating down on you, and just an overall more relaxed atmosphere.

Pretty much every day…it’s fun to have a hobby you can enjoy with your family! How do you make theme park days fun with your family? Snacks are key for us along with optimizing theme park app data to minimize wait times in line - always download the park app for any park you visit! This will allow you to check wait times (ideally), order food for a quick pick up, navigate a new park with a map, and see what attractions are up your alley!

About to ruin someone’s day ⚡️🎥🌎
Don’t be this person! So many people confuse Disney’s Hollywood Studios with Universal Studios Orlando…and while Harry Potter *almost* came to Disney a long time ago, you will not find Hogwarts anywhere on Disney property. Do your research prior to heading to Orlando and make sure you are visiting the right park for the attractions you want to experience!

🍁Why the fall is the best time to plan your next theme park trip: in the off-season, theme parks often run promos on tickets, season passes, and add-ons. Why? To increase revenue when the parks are not as busy. You can benefit from deals right now and especially as we near Black Friday. Parks like Dollywood, Busch Gardens, Sea World, Carowinds, etc. will often have deals on park memberships that can include dining add-one, guest tickets, and other benefits. I typically will get our tickets and passes around this time of year to save and tickets make great holiday gifts. Theme park tickets don’t add to clutter around the house and make for great family memories!
