Butters has become a shelter favorite but is now in jeopardy of never making it out. She is so friendly and wonderful she was given the job of “dog tester” for all the new pups coming in. This 6- 8 month old cattle dog mix loves people and other pups. We can’t imagine why no one has gone looking for her. While she is content right now fulfilling her role at the shelter, unfortunately the shelter has come to the point where they can no longer accommodate her stay. As much as they love Butters there are just far too many behind her needing a spot in the shelter. Butters is 40lbs dog and human friendly. This pup is in desperate need of a foster commitment by Thursday evening in order to reserve a spot on transport for Saturday. She is already cutting it close with time, but we thought we would reach out and try to throw one last Hail Mary for this little lady. If you can foster please email [email protected], if you can’t please spare a share for Butters!

Pixie Stix foster tells us this: “Pixie! She is amazing! So nervous when she got off the truck, but that’s already in her past! She is happy and playful. Plays with my 9lb slightly bossy dog, gave the cat a once over then moved on, and now is happily running around the house collecting bones and chew sticks … 😁 she has done all her business outside!”
