We got them to school!
Thank you to our awesome parents and families for your patience, flexibility, and sense of humor as we work through a few first day bumps. Transportation is a big puzzle, and we appreciate everyone working with us as we continue using ParentVue for bus information and updates. We do not put drop off times in as there are too many variables to provide an accurate drop off time.
One thing we are proud of is our commitment to accommodating families whenever possible with unique schedules, childcare arrangements etc. While not every district is able to offer that flexibility, we do our best to make it work. We appreciate your willingness to work with us when adjustments are needed and your understanding as route details continue changing right up until the start of school.
As always, give us a call with any questions. Transportation isn’t a perfect science, but every year we learn, improve and get a little better.
Thank you for helping us! We have some of the best parents around!

We’re getting close! We have most of our transportation info entered into ParentVue, but there are still a few buses left to update in the system. Please be patient as we work through the final details. Our team has been putting in some extra hours as we had many unexpected last minute changes come to us at open house. We’re feeling really good about having everything finished up by the end of Monday Aug 31st. Please take a final look at your times and bus number in ParentVue Monday evening! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

A huge shoutout to Steve, who has been running a CDL training assembly line this summer!
We are incredibly proud of the number of new drivers earning their CDL licenses and joining the school bus driving industry! Steve’s patience, knowledge, and dedication have helped set these trainees up for success and the results speak for themselves!

Today we had our annual CDL Safety Training with our fellow 4.0 locations in Chisago Lakes! Our Pine City drivers rocked State Patrols Jeopardy game!
I managed to round up most of our drivers for a group photo… but Steve was having an important question answered and missed it. 😂 So naturally, he got his very own solo photo shoot.
Safety first, but we can still have a little fun along the way! Thanks to all our drivers for another great day of training!
Not gonna lie, that’s one attractive looking group of fabulous drivers!

I admit, I’ve put off making this post for a little while because my heart just wasn’t ready. And if I’m being honest, part of me kept hoping they’d change their minds.

This summer, we had to say goodbye to two of our favorite drivers as they officially retired. Steve Roubinek and Dean Masters.

While we’re certainly sad to see them go, we are so grateful and blessed for the many years they spent safely transporting Pine City students, becoming part of so many families’ daily routines.

I can honestly say that as a manager, they both represented dream employees. They are dependable, caring, professional, and always willing to put students first. You both will be missed, but we share in the excitement for your new adventures, relaxation, and fun that this new chapter will bring!

Words simply cannot thank you enough for all you gave to our team, our students, and our community!

We love you both and you’ll always be part of our family!

We started some of our back to school training today with some of our other 4.0 locations. Today included our Type III drivers and wheelchair certification. We always have a good time seeing everyone!

If you've ever wondered why our buses look so good every fall, here's your answer...

While everyone else is squeezing every last drop out of summer, our garage guys are busy painting buses, fixing dents, turning wrenches, cleaning, repairing, and performing a little transportation magic behind the scenes.

These are the faces behind the shiny yellow buses that show up on the first day of school looking ready for action!

Speaking of the first day of school... August is officially "Transportation Chaos Season."

Throughout the entire month of August, we'll be updating transportation information in Synergy as students enroll, move, change daycare locations, switch schedules, and make other transportation requests. If you're checking your information early in August, please remember that things may change several times before school starts.

We'll be doing our best to keep up as the phone rings, emails roll in, routes get adjusted, and our carefully organized plans get reorganized... and then reorganized again.

So if something doesn't look quite right yet, don't panic! August is the month we put all the puzzle pieces together. We'll be working hard (and possibly surviving on caffeine and determination) to make sure every student has a safe ride on the first day of school.

Over the last 2 days, our full-time Pine City Bus staff had the opportunity to attend 4.0’s Summer Summit in Edina. This years theme, “Purpose at the Wheel, Leadership in Motion!” Reminded us that every mile we drive and every student we transport is an opportunity to make a difference.
We spent time learning, collaborating and of course having some fun together!
We are returning a stronger team with new ideas and a stronger commitment to excellence!
A big thank you to 4.0 for hosting this event and inspiring us as we get ready for another school year!

Summer vacation? Not so fast!

Everyone knows one of the perks of being a bus driver is having summers off... but this special group decided to trade a few weeks of vacation for early mornings, bus routes, and smiling students.

We've officially made it through Week 1 of summer school, and these drivers are proving that dedication doesn't take a summer break!

We'd like to give a very special thank you to our summer school crew for keeping students moving safely all summer long. We appreciate you more than you know!
