Quick update on the historic Train Depot here in Pitkin!

We’ve been making some great progress lately, though the bar definitely made us work for it. It originally came out of the Petroleum Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and arrived in about a many different pieces. Between the modifications and just trying to figure out the puzzle of making it fit the Depot’s layout, it was a huge challenge.

Honestly, now that it’s finally coming together, it looks even better than we expected. It feels like it was meant to be here.

Can’t wait to show you all the finished look soon!

🚂 Model Train Enthusiasts & Collectors! 🚂

The Historic Pitkin Train Depot is looking to bring a piece of Colorado history back to life, and we need your help!
We are currently seeking donations or long-term loans of Denver, South Park & Pacific (DSP&P) model trains to be featured in a new historical display within the original 1882 depot.

How You Can Help:
Whether you have a pristine brass engine or a well-loved narrow-gauge layout, we are looking for:
DSP&P Steam Locomotives (Moguls, Consolidations, etc.)
Period-accurate Rolling Stock (Boxcars, Reefers, Waycars)
Passenger Coaches in the classic DSP&P livery

The Details:
Donations: Permanent gifts to the Depot to preserve the legacy of the "South Park Line."

Loans: Provide your models for display free of charge while retaining ownership.

Peace of Mind: All arrangements can be formally negotiated through a written contract to ensure the care and protection of your collection.
