We rarely leave reviews, but we felt it was important to acknowledge the exceptional level of service we received from Central Van Lines during our recent move from West Virginia to North Carolina.
We especially want to recognize Rick Adametz, our driver, who provided outstanding service from beginning to end. Rick took great care in overseeing both the loading and unloading of our belongings, making sure the teams understood how to handle our furniture and valuables. Despite the distance of our move, Rick had everything loaded on Thursday and delivered to our new home by Saturday. An incredibly smooth and efficient experience!
Both the loading and unloading crews were excellent, but the unloading team was truly exceptional. They worked incredibly hard and efficiently, unloading our belongings and assembling our furniture without a single complaint. We have rarely seen a team work so hard! They remained polite, good-humored, and professional throughout the entire process and were clearly committed to doing the best possible job. It was honestly impressive to watch them work and see the pride they took in what they do.
We also cannot say enough about Vickie Counts, our moving coordinator. It was clear throughout the move that Vickie and Rick were in constant communication to ensure everything remained on track. Vickie personally checked in with me each day to make sure everything was going smoothly and to clearly communicate the next steps. She was also completely transparent about payment expectations and kept us informed of any changes to the original estimate along the way. That level of communication made a potentially stressful long-distance move feel organized and manageable.
Moving an entire household across state lines is a major undertaking, and having people you can trust makes all the difference. We would highly recommend Central Van Lines, but in particular, Rick Adametz and Vickie Counts, to anyone planning a significant household move. Their professionalism, communication, hard work, and genuine commitment to providing excellent service made a lasting impression on us.
