Thompson Memorial Field - ME62 Thompson Field is a small, 2500' strip in Central Maine catering to all types of aircraft. "ME62" i "ME62" is privately owned, open to the public grass strip.

We offer 5 hangars, BBQs, the "Bent Propeller Lounge", camping, live music, good times and anything else you can dream up. We love flying people! Home of MaineFlying.org

As previously briefed, the spot next to "The Bicycle" in the tree (~1000' down from the northern approach) tends to be very soft in the spring and/or after heavy rains. We marked it off with cones and suggest you avoid that area when taxiing and landing. If you cannot land after it when landing north, or stop short when landing south, we suggest you always utilize soft field landing techniques and avoid that western edge.
