GOZO Island Malta

Gozo is the second-largest island in the Maltese archipelago, located in the Mediterranean Sea, known for its tranquil, rural atmosphere, stunning coastline, and rich history, with 40,000 inhabitants. The island is home to the megalithic structures known as the Ġgantija temples dating to 3600 BC.
In the center of the island one finds the Cittadelle built on top of a plateau. Also known as the Castello, was first inhabited by the Bronze Age people, and continued to be used as a fortification till modern times.
Dwejra, is another location known for its geological wonders of the inland sea and the fungus rock.

Mdina - also known by its Italian name Città Vecchia, Città Notabile and the Silent City is a fortified city in the Western Region of Malta which was the island's capital from antiquity to the medieval period. The city has not spread beyond its ancient walls, and has a population of 250. Over the years the city remained within the walls and economic activity shifted to the new Capital city of Valletta.
