Despite rainy weather forecasts and concerns about current events, the Hershey RV Show - America's Largest RV Show had a robust attendance and positive vibe! We did brisk business at the Anderson's info booth, for sure.

The Great Allentown Fair and The Great New York State Fair are in the rear-view (and many thanks to everyone that reserved rack space for those shows!). We're now prepping for next week and the frenzy of the Hershey RV Show - America's Largest RV Show. We're in a prime location and ready to assist visitors looking for places to camp and destinations to explore.

It’s the 13th and final day of The Great New York State Fair. Happy Labor Day!!! Overall the weather was pretty great for a change, except for that stormy middle day where Mindy may have needed arm floaties and a canoe to get back to her car. But overall one of our better years here. Folks stopping to browse were pleased that they had camping and destination info to inspire them and we sure did open a lot of boxes. Thank you to everyone that participates in the Anderson’s shows program; we are honored to match you up with potential visitors and customers.

Key Highlights
Total so far: 892,402 people attended through Sunday, September 6.

It’s a great day weather-wise here on day 11 of The Great New York State Fair and the crowds are robust. They keep gathering around and browsing the literature racks…right until we’re trying to take a video! Then p**f!!! lol but we’re keeping things stocked and answering folks’ questions. The Syracuse University football team hosts its season opener in town today bringing even more people in this weekend - Go ‘Cuse!

So, seems like situation normal at The Great New York State Fair. Not going to let a little thunder rumble and flooding keep us down! We're back at it helping people find things to do and campgrounds to enjoy.

We get an early night tonight at the New York State Fair, unfortunately. But, with any luck, the skies will clear up and tomorrow will be another great day for sharing camping and travel ideas with fairgoers! To everyone out there having iffy weather in your neck of the woods...we hope you stay safe and well!

Fairgoers, we’re sad to say that in anticipation of severe thunderstorms this evening, the Fair will be closing early today! Our two evening concerts will still go on, so if you’re already on the Fairgrounds, please stick around and enjoy the shows! The Fair will close at 6pm, after Priscilla Block’s 4:30 p.m. performance at Chevy Court and Tori Kelly’s 5pm performance at Suburban Park.

4:30 p.m. – all parking closes
5:15 p.m. – gates close
5:30 p.m. – the midway closes
6:00 p.m. – the fairgrounds close
