Most of what I got done yesterday, I got done at the bowling alley. After getting home from bowling last night, I started some of the pink lettering. I'll work more on that tonight. If I get a chance during the day today, I'll stitch more of that blue fill.

What a day! Not a great day for pure stitching. However, I got to spend some time with a friend planning his project. His project may be a few years up the road, but I hope to get a graph in the next year. When I got home, I noticed I had a loop in my fabric and realized when I did a quarter stitch, I must have caught the needle in the floss again. Unfortunately, that eventually had to be cut out. There were also times tonight I was a cat masseuse. All that being said, I wouldn't have traded tonight for anything. Yes, I fell further behind on my current stitching project, but I feel it was all time well spent.

Tonight is Bowling. I look forward to knocking out some games. It will probably be another low stitch count day again today. I'm glad I didn't schedule the Cars project back to back with this one. Have a great day everyone!

With the migraine I had yesterday, I just worked on sky. Most of what got done was at home after 9:00 when I started to feel better. I'm already loaded up with more blue for the day today. I'm just hoping the migraine doesn't come back.

I went as long as I could last night, but did not make my stitching goal. Of course, in fairness to my stitching, the cat did have me up at three in the morning so I didn't stay awake that late. I'm hoping today is a good stitching day. We'll have to see as the day goes on. I will have two needles going today. One for blue and one for pink. I need the letters done so I can finish the Os. The letters will involve a lot of detail work. Hopefully I can get all the way through them by the end of the day tomorrow.

Despite the rain, we had a fun day in Michigan. We got a late start with the rain. We still got to hike a little bit at Fernwood Botanical Gardens, enjoy the carousel and our favorite pizza on that side of the lake, Silver Beach Pizza. When I got home though, I was pretty much done for the day. The letters are all showing. They need pink. After that, I just need to fill and backstitch.

I did push out my deadline a little bit. I'm still on pace to start the Cars design September 13. Life just pushed this project out a little longer than I wanted to go.

It was a rough day yesterday. I actually got some decent stitching done at the bowling alley. Then in the afternoon, I developed a migraine. Not much got done after that. I have a minor correction to move a few stitches today, but I don't expect to lose too many stitches. It's a beach day today. Hopefully, I can quickly push my Stitch count over 100 and get this week off on a good note.

It was a good day for stitching. It was a late night getting home from work. Before I got my ride home from work today, I got a chance to get a lot of stitching done. I got some more done when I got home.

Tomorrow again, I am working on letters. I really do want to finish them before the end of the night. It will definitely take some effort, but I will get that going. Beach day on Sunday. Hopefully, we start backstitching late this week and wrap this up Labor Day weekend.

Yesterday did not go as we had planned. I was supposed to go to Bowling. If I had gone, I wouldn't have been working on a project here at home unrelated to cross stitch. I also would've stayed up later. I was in bed early last night.

I'm still set up for a lot of fill today. Tomorrow, I am at a bowling tournament which will lend well to either more fill or working on letters. I would like to have all the letters done by Sunday morning when I post weekly progress for another group. If things go the way I think they will, the Saint Joseph office will be open on Sunday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed the weather will be good for what maybe the last beach day of the year.

I had another issue last night that took me away from stitching. Set up for a lot of fill today. However, it will be a long day and I don't know if I will get the required number stitches keep up with my goal. This may be a Monday or Tuesday finish. That is perfectly OK. I don't want it to go into Wednesday that Labor Day week because I know not much will get done the rest of that week.

That being said, here is last night's progress. More fill being done today as well as the letters that need to be finished. With all the fill being done today, I'll probably work on letters Saturday.

Again, it's already been a long week. However, we are back to WIP Wednesday. Let's see what you're working on. I know on one of the threads I follow on Facebook, a lot of people were working on Christmas. When you have a project like that, how far ahead do you work? One person apologized for working on a Christmas present at this point and most of us agreed. If you have the time, you get that present done as soon as you can.

I was talking with a friend about a project. It will be train themed for the Kansas City area. We discussed that last night back-and-forth and I borrowed the opinions of a couple friends have lived in the area. I only got to 100.5 stitches and fell asleep sometime in the eighth inning of the Cubs game last night.
