We are hiring CDL-A Regional Drivers at our terminals in Florence KY, Louisville, KY, Elk Grove Village IL and Plainfield IN.

This position is a hybrid of local and regional driving, you will be home daily most days with an occasional overnight (also known as an ADHOC position). Drivers may go from doing local city runs or daily trips such as Plainfield IN to Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville or any area that will still get you home same day. Home daily runs are paid by trip and pay will depend on where you go.
his position includes occasional overnight runs to areas such as Walpole MA, Memphis, Atlanta etc., the overnight runs are paid by the mile and will include detention and overnight pay.
This position you will be home daily most days.
Duties are to represent PACE AIR FREIGHT in a professional manner a frontline employee representative ensuring the clients shipments are properly transported in a safe and timely fashion from the point of pick-up through to delivery. The driver must have an understanding of the documentation requirements as well as be trained in the handling of climate-controlled shipments. Must also follow and adhere to all regulatory bodies. This position is paid by miles, and I would be happy to discuss.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid CDL A
At least 3 months of Class A driving experience.
Current DOT physical
HAZMAT Endorsement
Layover Pay for the occasional overnight run
Detention Pay after the first hour

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Current CDL
At least 3 months driving experience.
Current DOT physical
Hazmat Required Straight Truck Local P&D

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Start Time: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM

End Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Compensation: $21.00 - $22.00

Average week hours are 45-50

Local P&D for SDF include any areas in the Midwest that a driver can pickup/deliver same day and return home. Liftgate & pallet jack experience required. Never to stay overnight.

-Pre/Post tripping truck and trailers

-Using Elogs

-Keeping paperwork organized

-Counting freight while picking up and delivery

-Communicating with dispatch

We are seeking a dependable, self-starter who can work independently to promote safe working conditions and practices aimed at reducing injury, illnesses, property and equipment damage.

Responsible for assisting the Safety Director and Human Resources to plan, develop and coordinate the safety and occupational health component of personnel, materials, equipment and environments to achieve safety effectiveness and awareness for the company.

This position requires a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to work efficiently with a wide variety of personalities.

Requires accident reporting and investigation. Maintaining DOT and electronic log compliance.

Knowledge of trucking industry regulations i.e., FMCSA, TSA, USDOT, and HAZMAT and 2 years trucking industry experience preferred. Training provided.
