Found her at auction, brought her home, and now she’s ready for a fresh start. For me, this is more than just a hobby — it’s about turning my marine experience into a business, spotting details others might miss, and giving these boats a second life.

💡 The plan is simple: find great deals, put in the work and knowledge, and get them ready for new owners to enjoy on the water.

⚓️ Webasto FCF Platinum – Error E1

If your boat’s A/C suddenly shuts down and shows E1, it means:
❌ No seawater flow / cooling water pressure too low.

🔧 Main causes:
• Clogged seawater strainer 🐚
• Pump failure or air lock
• Blocked or kinked hoses
• Dirty heat exchanger (needs chemical flush)

✅ Quick check:
1. Look for water flow overboard 🌊
2. Clean the strainer
3. Verify the seawater pump is working
4. Flush the system if needed

Stay cool on the water – regular maintenance prevents downtime! ⚡️

🚤 Yellowfin on service!
Today we focused on fuel system maintenance using Star Tron Enzyme Formula Fuel Tank Cleaner to clean the tank and remove sludge, varnish, and deposits.

🔧 Correct dosage is key:
only 38 ml per 5 gallons of gasoline. Overdosing can cause issues, so we keep it precise.

This type of care extends engine life and prevents unexpected breakdowns on the water.

⚓️ Clean tank = reliable engine.

🛠 The following works have been carried out on the vessel:
• ✅ Main console switches have been replaced.
• ⚠️ Pump hoses require replacement due to wear.
• ✅ Fuel level sensor has been replaced.
• ⚠️ Fuse block requires replacement of several fuses and cleaning of oxidized contacts.
• ⚠️ Negative bus bar also requires cleaning to restore reliable contact.

🔧 These works were performed to improve the reliability and safety of the vessel’s operation.

📍 On board the Sea Ray Sundancer 340, the following issues were identified and addressed:
• ❌ The sensor (voltage regulator) was not working and has been replaced with a new one.
• ⚡ The Kohler generator’s carburetor was malfunctioning and required disassembly and cleaning.
• 🌡 The air conditioning system failed — diagnostics revealed a heavily clogged and damaged filter. The system requires full cleaning and filter replacement.

Work is ongoing to restore all systems to proper operation.

📍 On the vessel Sea Ray Sundancer 340 “Grande Affare” (Fort Lauderdale, FL) the following issues were identified:
• The MerCruiser water pressure sensor (Quicksilver 8M0157742) was not functioning properly.
• The engine start button engaged the engine but did not shut it off after starting, requiring correction of the control circuit.

⚡ During diagnostics, electrical connections, power circuits, and control panel components were inspected. Further repairs are planned, including sensor replacement and verification of the start button’s proper operation.

🚤⚡️ Crazy day for a marine electrician!

Today I had to deal with everything at once:
• Replaced the old Victron Argodiode Battery Isolator that turned into a block of salt ⚡️🧂 → with a brand-new shiny one, clean terminals and proper connections.
• Fought corrosion on the switches 🔧 — cleaning, new lugs, crimping, and heat-shrink.
• Full dashboard teardown: old connectors, a jungle of wires, and installation of new Bocatech marine switches 💡.

The result: new isolator, fresh connectors, neat wiring, and a clean dashboard. Everything works, everything charges, everything lights up as it should 🔋✨.

🚤 Shore Power Repair and Restoration on a Yacht ⚡🚤

During the inspection of the shore power system, we discovered damaged socket contacts — severe overheating, corrosion, and melted plastic. The cause was a loose connection and moisture ingress.

✅ Removed the old connector;
✅ Cleaned and replaced the damaged cable section;
✅ Installed a new marine-grade connector with crimped terminals;
✅ Treated contacts with dielectric grease for moisture and corrosion protection.

Now the shore power system operates safely and reliably, ensuring battery charging and onboard equipment power. ⚓💪
