A logistics specialist works closely with our Carrier Sales department who interacts with our clients, vendors and carriers to deliver and support all of their logistical needs.
The position demands the ability to work on a Team, strong verbal and written communication skills must be able to multi-task, handle high volume of work, quick learner and be solution-oriented.
Typical Logistics Specialist Requirements
1 Year experience a plus
Order Entry
Experience with working with drivers, dispatch and clients
Understands Bill of Ladings, Delivery Receipts, D.O.'s , rate confirmations, etc...
fielding rate quotes
intermodal experience a plus
Working with Team Members
Work well with different personalities * Provide assistance by email or telephone to clients, vendors and carriers
Must have patience, clear communication skills and empathy
Ability to “read” customs current emotional state * Quoting, Building and monitoring shipments
Time Management and Organization skills
Bilingual English/Chinese is a plus

Pay: $55,000-65,000/Year
