Today, one of our crews had the incredible honor of meeting with a patient whose life they helped save in July. She and her husband returned to visit Angela, Marissa and Darlene. Fun fact, this call was Darleneโs very first call on her first day of training!
Our crew was called to her home, where she suffered a witnessed cardiac arrest. BLS immediately began CPR, and through the efforts on scene and the care that followed, the outcome was one every EMS provider hopes for: she survived.
Moments like today remind us that behind every call is a person, a family, and a story. We are incredibly grateful and honored to have been a small part in her journey and even more thankful she and her husband chose to come back and share a special moment with our team.
