Today was a beautiful reminder of what makes the aviation community so special.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who took time out of your day to join us in celebrating the life of our dear friend, Greg Flint. Whether you came as family, a lifelong friend, a fellow aviator, or simply to show your support, your presence meant more than words can express.
The outpouring of love, stories, laughter, and remembrance brought great comfort to Greg’s family and reminded us all that while we may lose those we love, the memories they leave behind will endure for a lifetime in our hearts and minds.
And just when we thought the day couldn’t become any more meaningful, after the crowds faded his family lingering behind looked to the sky and noticed a rainbow stretching above Greg’s Chief. It was a moment that brought comfort. It felt as though Greg was reminding us that he was right where he belonged among the heavens having slipped the surely bonds of earth.
Today we shared friendship, compassion, and the enduring spirit of a family that takes care of its own.
With your generosity and support we managed to raise just shy of $3,500 which will create a lasting memorial where friends and visitors can pause, reflect, and remember Greg for years to come. We promise to keep you updated as this takes shape.
On behalf of Greg’s family and the entire Mt. Tobe family, thank you for helping us honor a truly remarkable man and for helping us give Greg the tribute he so deeply deserved.
