Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Alayna for a fun Fourth of July craft! We will be painting rocks with fun designs and lining them up to create a rock snake. All supplies will be provided. We will meet at the Chimney Pavilion at 2 p.m. Children and adults of all ages are welcome!

If you missed the first registration, here’s your chance to kayak the waterways of Big Hill Pond!

Join BHP park staff for a guided kayak float down the Tuscumbia and Hatchie Rivers. This is the rescheduled float for the postponed float from May. The float is Saturday, July 18.

HOW TO REGISTER: There are three different registrations for this event. The registration types are: single kayak, tandem kayak, or bring your own kayak. Be sure to register for the type of kayak you’ll need.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: If you registered for the postponed May float, you will NOT have to register again for this float. Slots have been adjusted and your slot is reserved.

The kayak float scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed. With the expected rain and anticipation of water levels rising, we decided to keep everyone safe and reschedule.

Spring is here, and with it comes new life! 🦊

This time of year is especially important, as many animals are raising babies! As you enjoy the great outdoors, you may spot young deer, rabbits, turkeys, or even foxes!

It is important to always leave wildlife undisturbed. Keep a safe distance, avoid touching them, and never remove them from their home. Just because you do not see the mother, does not mean she isn’t close by.
