Here’s a link to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries (LDWF) recent commision meeting held earlier this month in January 2026.

A special presentation assessing our Infinity Stingray saltwater electrofishing system is given at 58:30-1:24:00. This excellent presentation was given by Chris Schieble, Deputy Asst. Secretary (LDWF). Thank you to all of the LA folks involved with this project. They don’t let grass grow under their feet- they get things done!

We had a hunch this new technology we developed could be a game changer on how coastal fisheries could be sampled and managed. Watch the presentation and judge for yourself. I’ll just say it far exceeded our own expectations.

Here’s a fun little project we knocked out a few weeks ago. We don’t typically mess with refurbishing recreational boats, but this one was special. This old fishing boat belonged to Junior Ireland, who was one of the best men I’ve ever known. He was a friend and a mentor. It now belongs to his son and my friend, Dwain Ireland. I spent countless hours in this boat fishing with Jr on Indian Creek lake near Chillicothe, MO some 25 years ago. Jr passed away in 2013.

This boat means a lot to both Dwain and I. The carpetted plywood flooring was in terrible shape so we rebuilt the substructure and flooring using aluminum. We essentially refurbished the entire interior including storage compartments, livell, console, etc…….all built from scratch.

Our fab guys, Seth and Cameron, knocked it out of the park. We couldn’t be more pleased on how it turned out and Dwain is tickled pink.

It has arrived!! The first production model saltwater electrofishing boat is highlighted in this video. This is presently the most powerful electrofishing system in the world and is capable of sampling fish in full strength saltwater.

Our crew left the crop fields of NW Missouri on Monday morning with our production model of the Infinity Stingray saltwater electrofisher and arrived 1,000 miles later to its new home port along the Gulf Coast on Tuesday afternoon. A short few hours after arriving, they had the boat in the water and began collecting fish with the marine scientists tasked with operating it.

Saltwater Electrofishing!! That’s correct, we have developed a new system that effectively captures fish in the ocean and surrounding environments. The crew is out doing “sea” trials with a sweet 18’ boat we just finished. This one is headed to New Mexico later this month. They do most of their work at night; hence, the radar.

We were commissioned to design and build the ultimate pond fishing boat for an 82 year old man. He wanted something that he could use on his private pond that allowed him to step off of his dock and onto a boat not into a boat. He wasn’t interested in a pontoon style because he wanted more control with steering. He didn’t want a safely rail around the perimeter because it could make casting and getting the fish onto the boat more difficult. Instead we devised a sturdy grab rail on both sides that will help him with his stability as he gets onto the boat. We will be delivering this boat to his pond on Monday. The trailer does not go with the boat. He wants the boat placed in the water to never leave his pond.

It was a real pleasure dealing with this client. He is one happy camper. Enjoy the pics!

Two more boats are now finished. One is an 18’ chopped V bow and the other is 17’ true flat Jon. Both have 24” sides and 72” .190 bottoms. The customer in SC will be providing and rigging their own motor, and the trailer for that rig will be completed shortly after lunch today. The other boat will be heading to Alabama for service on a private ranch.
