E-Cycle WA will have a truck at the Clean Up Day this Saturday (5/16/26). The following items can be recycled for free:

Televisions
Computers
Laptops
Monitors
Tablets
E-readers
Portable DVD players

Computer peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and printers are not included in the E-Cycle WA program.

Bring your e-waste items to the Old Rock Pit off Gould City-Mayview Rd., Saturday, May 16th, from 8 am - 2:00 pm.

FREE CHIPPER DAY FOR YARD WASTE – Saturday, Apr.18th, 8 am to 2 pm

Garfield County will host a free Chipper day for country residents on Saturday, Apr. 18th at the old rock pit located off Gould City-Mayview Road.

What can you bring? Clean yard and garden debris, pine needles, leaves, limbs and small logs (up to 15 inches). Loads that contain a lot of dirt, rocks, root balls or anything over 15 inches in diameter will be turned away. Yard debris in garbage bags need to be emptied and the bags taken home with you. For more information, contact Garfield County Recycling at 843-3710.

The last day mercury containing light bulbs will be accepted at the Garfield County LightRecycle drop-off location is Thursday, Dec. 18th. PCA Product Stewardship, Inc. (“PCA-USA”) will conclude its administration of the LightRecycle Washington program at the end of the calendar year 2025. While there is hope the program will continue, currently the Washington State Department of Ecology does not have a transitional plan in place. FREE CHIPPER DAY FOR YARD WASTE – Saturday, Oct. 25th, 8 am to 2 pm
