After undergoing a rigorous series of inspections, our Triton submersible Nomad has officially passed her ABS certification and is ready for action.

ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) certification is no small feat — it’s a deep dive into every component of safety, integrity, and performance. From structural systems to life support checks, Nomad has proven she’s built for serious exploration.

Now fully certified and cleared to dive, she’s prepped for a season of bold missions and deeper discoveries.

Next stop: the unknown.

We had the honor of supporting the first dives of Triton’s newest model, AVA.
AVA, for Advanced Versatile Acrylics, is the first sub with a free-form acrylic pressure hull. This gorgeous, elliptical submersible is capable of diving to a depth of 660 feet with seating for nine, an amazing feet of design & engineering
Through collaboration with Guice Offshore LLC; GO America & her crew made it possible to safely launch and retrieve this 24,250 lb / 11,000 kg submersible to & from the deck of the ship.
Our team is proud to offer unparalleled surface support & look forward to more cutting edge work with visionaries like Triton Submarines.

The submersible diving industry has been the at the top of headlines surrounding the recent tragedy that occurred on the OceanGate Submersible, Titan. Although our insight is abundant; It has been hard to navigate making the appropriate statement; As we want to respect the lives lost and all that have been impacted.

While to many; It was a sensationalized news story… To us; It was a devastating incident within a close knit, and supportive industry.
An incident that has provoked negative connotations surrounding submersible diving.
An incident that - in many ways - should have never happened.

“Over the last five decades, tens of millions of passengers have participated in the extraordinary experience of diving in a submersible, with not a single fatality recorded related in a fully certified submersible.” - A true statement from the amazing team over at Triton Submarines

As the community recovers from not only the loss of 5 lives, but ultimately a loss of trust in commercial sub diving operations … It is important to understand & address what lead to this.

As a team - we are putting our efforts towards better displaying the standards that we uphold for ourselves, our equipment, and all of our vessels.
