Here it is! TWO LANES of traffic on NC12 at the Pea Island Visitor Center. Again, continue to drive with caution through the area, as there is still water on the road in places and the road shoulders are soft. Thanks for your patience as we made the switchover this evening.

VIKING UPDATE 2 of 2: North Carolina is in third place, BUT they are trying to catch Pennsylvania; PA is in second place. Today Michael helped out North Carolina by finishing a Viking.

Crews are continuing to repair NC 12 after the nor'easter battered it throughout the last several days. Back open in both directions, discussion on a long-term solution for this stretch of highway is back on the minds of county and state leaders.
