AIMCO/APH successfully barged ~30 miles of FBE coated 42” DRLS pipes from Morgantown WV. Pipes were picked up from local staging yard; trucked to the Monongahela River; loaded to barge; then barged to New Iberia, LA. Barges transited the Monongahela River to the Ohio River to the Mississippi River then through the Intracoastal waterway from Port Allen LA to New Iberia LA. These barges travelled approximately 1800 miles by water across 4 weeks.
