Day 3…wow! Our campers started the day visiting with the Coast Guard in Sabine and gained a wealth of knowledge. They ended the day with our amazing partners at Valero Port Arthur Refinery who provided them with hands-on activities, insight into operations, and connection to how the refineries and maritime careers work together . What an amazing time!

Day 2 of Camp SeaPort was a great day indeed! Our campers had the opportunity to visit Lamar State College Orange’s Maritime school and take a boat ride down the Sabine. From there, they were welcomed by Motiva Enterprises for conversation, facility hospitality, and more STEAM explorations. They ended the day with information from Sade Chick of Port of Beaumont and an exciting round of Maritime Jeopardy. Truly… .
