Meet our Staff: this is Tabitha: I have been working for the company three year. I started as a driver, then became Dispatch. I made close connections with my clients as well as my coworkers. I continue to work for the company because I know what we are doing is right; we are helping those in the community who are less fortunate and unable to do for themselves. Meet our Staff: This is Mike. He is our driver trainer. Mike has been with the company a little over 12 years and this is what he had to say about working here: One of the things that caught me right away was the the care and devotion the office people took on every call. The best part of my job is seeing things through, ensuring that after the phone call, the client gets from point A to point B safe and happy. It has brought me great satisfaction every day seeing the smiles that I put on people's faces being able to get people that are disabled to their appointments. What brings me to work everyday is the people I work with and having the opportunity to make everyone I transport smile and feel cared about. When training drivers, I tell them to treat every rider like their grandparents.

Beware of this SCAM

SCAM AWARENESS ALERT

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public about an ongoing phone scam in which callers are impersonating members of our agency.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!!

We have received more than 50 reports TODAY of scammers using the names of our Civil Judicial Services Bureau, Lt. Michael O’Brien, and retired Sgt. Jeff Buchanan to make these fraudulent calls.

The scam follows the same pattern: Callers claim you missed court or jury duty and that there is a warrant for your arrest. They may use official-sounding language and personal information to make the call appear legitimate.

DO NOT BE FOOLED. WE WILL NOT CALL ASKING FOR MONEY.

These scammers are using fear, urgency, and the threat of arrest to pressure you into taking immediate action.

If you receive one of these calls:

• Hang up.
• Do not provide personal or financial information.
• Do not send money or make any payment.
• Do not trust caller ID or the name provided by the caller.
• If you have questions about a legitimate court matter, contact the appropriate agency using a verified phone number.

Please share this alert with your family, friends, and neighbors to help prevent someone from becoming the next victim.
