We ripped another hole in the boat! We are chasing little 'extra credit' projects before going back in the water, and hit another worse-case scenario of rotten king beam and carlins supporting the house on the aft deck. I'll share what our short- and long-term solutions will be (the work shall continue in the fall!), but in the meantime we are holding one more fundraiser to try and tidy up the boat to get back into the water this month.

Take a look at what we've put together as a team of volunteers, artists, and friends of Argonaut II--and there are more off-cut cutting boards that we've been hard at work making late at night. Check it out!

Argonaut II Online Auction! We turned pieces of Argonaut II into cutting boards, cribbage boards, bowls, and even captured Argonaut in a vintage watercolor - check it out!

Auction is live for two weeks, but some items are already selling!

Together we can help to preserve history and set Argonaut II up for another 100 years!

I wasn't sure if we were going to swing this or not (let alone completing the port side), but it turns out we pulled it off! This next video highlights a smaller repair to the Starboard side, chasing out the remaining rot at the waterline, in addition to a few extra rotten planks that needed replacement.

We are getting closer and further away from launch at the same time. On one hand, the planking project is wrapping up nicely, but on the other we are up to our chin in another major project that I wasn't planning on doing this year, but there's an opportunity to make it happen. To help, we are trying to raise $25k for Argonaut in the next 3-4 weeks. I'll show you what we're up to in the next video.

Whether you are new to the channel, or have been following along for some time--take a look through the items we and some incredible volunteers have been working on to help fundraise for this next project.

Sharing a video of a podcast interview I did with The Boat Geeks a couple weeks back, which goes a bit more into my background/how this whole project came to be.

The Boat Geeks are worth a follow - they, too, are leaning into their passion and are interviewing all sorts of people within the Pacific Northwest boating community. Check them out!
