One morning, two Pacific Seacraft rigs out. A 37 and a 40. The 37 we rigged in '09. It sailed to Polynesia and now is back for a refresh to do it again. The 40 will be sailed by on a non-stop circumnavigation. The first is like climbing Mount Everest, the second is like going into outer space, except more people have gone into outer space.

I was on Bainbridge Island last week delivering a running rigging package to the catamaran on the right. To the left is the traditionally rigged Ralph Winslow ketch "Nomad", which we built the rig for years ago and continue to maintain. I just love the versatility of our craft and the diversity of our clients.

Last winter's re-rig of the 60' catamaran Nesi in a remote corner of the Indian Ocean. As Matt said, "If you have to zoom in multiple times on Google Earth to find the country, it may not be the best place to refit a sailboat." But despite a couple obstacles, we got the job done. We have schooner Spike Africa in front of the shop, and will for a few more days as we prepare her to head home to San Diego.

Spike Africa gets her rig back. What started as a rig out USCG inspection, evolved into a new fore mast, rehabbed main mast, and various standing and running gear upgrades. Dylan Smith and hanging the triatic.

Two very different boats, connected through time, and the call of the sea. Both longtime returning clients. The 1938 Spidsgatter Helma, and Obelix, a 2015 Garcia Exploration 45. We rigged Helma in 2021 and she is back for annual maintenance which keeps her sailing year-round in Puget sound. Obelix, which we rigged in 2024, is back for a rig tune and final preparations before heading down the coast, through the canal, with sights set on an Atlantic Crossing.
