East Chicago Rail Terminal offers long-term railcar storage, rail to truck and truck to rail transloading, and railcar repair. Our facility has the capacity to store in excess of 200 railcars as well as transload 60 railcars.

Jim will be greatly missed by all of us here at Combined 💔

James P. Wilson passes at 57

James P. Wilson, 57, of Valparaiso, Ind., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

He was born on Jan. 8, 1965, in Valparaiso, son of Larry Dibkey and Judith (Miller) Dibkey.

James is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Wilson; beloved children, sons Jamie Wilson and Adam Wilson and daughters Mariah Wilson and Brooke Wilson; grandsons, Khalil and Adonis Branch; brothers, Jeff (JoAnne) Wilson, Jerry (Dawn) Wilson, Joe (Kelley) Wilson, and John (Jill) Wilson; sisters, Kim (Karl) Ensign and Kelly Ridge; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katherine Wilson; and brother-in-law, Donald Ridge.

James graduated from Valparaiso High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved hunting, playing golf, and was very active in the 4-H dairy project, on which he served as a committee member. James could have a rough exterior but he had a very kind and caring soul. He would do anything for anyone. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind., with Pastor Jason Kegebein officiating. Visitation with the family will take place from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
