Good reminders as we head back to school! Stay safe and enjoy the ride!

Safety Starts at the Bus Stop: Your child should arrive at the bus stop at least five to ten minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive. Visit the bus stop before the first day of school and show your child where to wait for the bus: at least three giant steps (six feet) away from the curb. Remind your child that the bus stop is not a place to run or play. Practice bus stop safety this month as you prepare to return to school and share this post to remind others how important school bus safety is.

School starts Wednesday, August 24th with a FULL DAY for all grades! Motorists should be aware of school buses and extra pedestrian traffic, both near the schools and at bus stops. And please BE PATIENT as the next week or two is always extra chaotic as parents and students get used to the new routine. Have a great school year!

Great news from Nutrition Services!!

Our team is getting ready and excited for the new school year to begin Tuesday! While Congress did not extend all free meals for all students, we did work very hard to get over 50 schools and programs approved for Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This means students enrolled in the CEP schools will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch without the need to complete any paperwork. Please see the list of schools below.
