When going to Disney we all have these grand plans of what the trip will look like and checking off all the boxes we had planned for months. But truth is that kids don’t care about those boxes and just want to have fun!

During our last trip my toddler asked for “pirate boat”. I knew she didn’t mean pirates of the carribean as she didn’t like it. She meant Peter pans flight. The wait time was 60 mins and it was getting close to fireworks time. We told her we couldn’t do it and did small world instead which she also loves! Well as soon as we get off and walk out the exit she sees Peter Pan and looks at me and says “oh mommy please one more time” 😭 my momma heart broke and stopped and thought. This trip is for her and this is what she wants. She doesn’t care that the fireworks are happening and we aren’t going to be in the perfect spot. We got in line and she was bouncing up and down the whole time! We got off and still got to watch fireworks from a not so perfect spot but she was non the wiser.

Slow down and enjoy your trips because you only have this “season” with your child at this age!

This is one of the cutest things ever - Darth Vader brings his daughter to Batuu every single year on her birthday 🎂

Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker) recently revealed that every year on her birthday, he takes his daughter to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland.

“It’s become a tradition for us.”

I mean, think about it…the one person alive who can walk through Galaxy’s Edge and say “I am your father!”
and have it mean more than when anyone else says it 😂
