The 1963 Century Sabre has undergone an extensive refurbishment of the bow section of its hull, which included replacing planks on both port and starboard sides, repairing the stem, installing new oak battens, fairing, bleaching, and applying Red Mahogany filler stain followed by 12 coats of varnish, while the fiberglass topsides also received spider crack repair through grinding, filling, priming, and a base coat and clear coat paint application.
