Actual photo from a traffic stop last night shows one of our officers removing multiple open containers from a vehicle. Driving while impaired is incredibly dangerous, but it’s also important to remember that possessing open containers of alcohol inside a motor vehicle on a public roadway is illegal.

This driver apparently thought they were competing for some sort of record. Fortunately, our officer had other plans.

If you’re drinking, don’t drive. And if you’re driving, don’t drink. One bad decision can change lives forever. Our officers will continue working to keep dangerous drivers off the road and making sure everyone gets home safely. 🚔🍺🚫
