✨ NO. 19: The 20 Cans of Success ✨
Have you ever allowed one failure, one mistake, one disappointment, or one difficult season to make you feel like YOU are a failure?

Maybe you’ve looked at where you are and thought:

“I should be further along.”
“I should have done better.”
“Maybe I’m just not good enough.”

But what if God sees you completely differently?

📖 CAN OF SUCCESS No. 19:

Why should I feel like a failure when I am more than a conqueror in all things through Christ?
— Romans 8:36-37

Paul acknowledges that believers will face hardship. We may experience trouble, persecution, rejection, loss, and difficult circumstances.

But then comes the declaration:

“In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

Notice it doesn’t say “apart from these things.”

It says IN these things.

Your difficult season doesn’t disqualify you.
Your struggle doesn’t make you a failure.
Your setback doesn’t cancel your purpose.

Because your victory isn’t determined by whether everything went according to your plan.

Your victory is found in Christ. ❤️

Being more than a conqueror doesn’t mean you’ll never struggle.

It means your struggle doesn’t get the final say.

You may bend, but you don’t have to break.
You may fall, but you can get back up.
You may face the battle, but you don’t face it alone.

✨ Today’s Truth:

I am not a failure. I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me.

And I want to go deeper with this one…

💭 What does “more than a conqueror” mean to YOU?

Not just what you’ve heard preached.
Not just what you think you’re supposed to say.

What does Romans 8:37 actually look like in your life?

Does being “more than a conqueror” mean overcoming something? Standing firm in the middle of something? Trusting God when you can’t see the outcome?

🎶 “This is a man’s world… but it wouldn’t be nothing without a woman or a girl.” 🎶

My husband is SUCH a man’s man! 💪🏾 He absolutely cannot stand when I try to carry something heavy when he’s right there to do it for me. And by “heavy” I mean literally 10lbs 😳😂

We JUST got home from grocery shopping, and I jokingly went to pick up a FIVE GALLON jug of water. Baby… I didn’t even get my fingers to make contact with that jug before I heard:

“Oh no you don’t!”

Sir, I WAS JUST PLAYING! 😭🤣

“You’re not allowed to be as strong as you once were. You literally agreed to give that stuff up. I don’t make the rules, I just follow them.” 😂

He is absolutely HILARIOUS.

But honestly, moments like this remind me just how blessed I am to have a man who takes being a husband seriously. He serves me, loves me, protects me, and cares for me in ways that remind me of Christ’s love for His church.

Now yes, we BOTH fall short. Neither of us are perfect, and we both have our flaws. But he always does the best he can, and as a praying wife, I continue to pray for him—that God would continue to shape him, strengthen him, and make him more and more like Christ. 🙏🏽❤️

He has very little time for my foolishness when it comes to me trying to prove that I can do things myself and he will definitely remind me that is no longer my department. 😂

And honestly? I love it. 🥹❤️

I’m sure I stress him out sometimes but one thing I know for sure is that he loves me deeply—and he loves seeing me smile.

So yes… I’m going to prank him.
Yes… I’m going to play around.
Yes...I may test his patience every now and then.

Because I LOVE laughing with my husband. I love making him laugh and putting a smile on his face just as he puts one on mine.

Marriage is a rollercoaster. There are highs, lows, unexpected turns, moments where you’re holding on for dear life 😂, and moments where you’re laughing so hard you forget you’re even on the ride.

But I’m grateful I get to ride this thing with you. ❤️

Thank You, Jesus, for my husband. For the laughter and even the moments where he has to remind me that apparently I am no longer qualified to carry a FIVE GALLON jug of water. 😂

I love him!

✨ NO. 18: The 20 Cans of Success ✨
Have you ever been so confused about a situation that you didn’t know what to think, what to do, or which way to go?

You prayed.
You overthought it.
You asked everyone for advice.
And somehow… you still didn’t have peace.

But what if we stopped looking everywhere else for answers and started listening to the Spirit of God within us?

📖 CAN OF SUCCESS No. 18:

Why should I be confused when God is the author of peace and He gives me knowledge through His indwelling Spirit?
— 1 Corinthians 14:33 & 1 Corinthians 2:12
📖 We read 1 Corinthians 14:31-34 and 1 Corinthians 2:11-12.

God is not the author of confusion.

And as believers, we haven’t been left to navigate this life completely on our own. We have received the Spirit of God—the One who helps us understand what God has freely given us.

Sometimes we’re so desperate for an answer that we forget to seek God’s peace.

We can become consumed with trying to figure everything out instead of trusting the One who already knows everything.

That doesn’t mean we’ll never have questions.
It doesn’t mean we’ll always immediately understand what God is doing.

But it does mean we can bring our confusion to God and allow His Spirit to lead us into truth.

✨ Today’s Truth:

God is not the author of confusion. His Spirit lives within me, and I can trust Him to lead me in truth and peace.

✨ NO. 17: The 20 Cans of Success ✨

Have you ever felt like the world was against you?

Like people misunderstood you.
Like doors kept closing.
Like everything was working against you.

Sometimes we can become so focused on who’s against us that we forget WHO is for us.

📖 CAN OF SUCCESS No. 17:

Why should I have a persecution complex knowing that nobody can be against me when God is for me?
— Romans 8:31
📖 We read Romans 8:30-32

Being opposed doesn’t mean you’re abandoned.

Being misunderstood doesn’t mean you’re forgotten.

Facing resistance doesn’t mean you’ve lost.

God is for you.

And if God is for you, you don’t have to live your life constantly looking over your shoulder wondering who is against you.

You don’t have to allow other people’s opinions to determine your worth.

You don’t have to let rejection convince you that you’re unqualified.

You don’t have to let opposition make you question the calling God placed on your life.

The same God who called you, justified you, and glorified you is the God who is walking with you through every season.

So shift your focus.

Stop asking, “Who’s against me?”

Start remembering, “Who’s with me?”

✨ Today’s Truth:

God is for me. I will not live intimidated by who or what is against me.

And here’s something I want you to really sit with today:

💭 What would change in your life if you genuinely stopped being afraid of who is against you and started living confidently in the truth that GOD IS FOR YOU?

Would you make that move?
Would you finally start that thing?
Would you stop shrinking yourself?
Would you walk away from something?
Would you finally believe what God said about you?

✨ NO 16: The 20 Cans of Success ✨

Have you ever struggled with feeling like you’re not enough?

Not good enough.
Not worthy enough.
Not valuable enough.
Not deserving of God’s love.

What if the problem isn’t your worth—but that you’ve forgotten whose you are?

📖 CAN OF SUCCESS No. 16:

Why should I feel worthless when Christ became sin on my behalf that I might become the righteousness of God in Him?
— 2 Corinthians 5:21

Today, my husband and I read verses 20–21 in both the CSB and NLT.

I personally LOVE the NLT, while my husband prefers the NKJV and CSB. 😂 And honestly, that’s one thing I love about reading Scripture together: sometimes hearing the same truth in a different translation makes something finally click.

Reading more than one translation can help us slow down, understand the context, and see God’s Word from another perspective.

Can anybody else relate?

But more importantly, think about what 2 Corinthians 5:21 is actually telling us:

Jesus took our sin so that we could be made right with God through Him.

He took what we could never fix on our own and gave us something we could never earn on our own.

So how can we call ourselves worthless when Christ considered us worth dying for?

Your mistakes don’t determine your value.
Your past doesn’t determine your value.
Your accomplishments don’t determine your value.
Other people’s opinions don’t determine your value.

Christ does.

✨ Today’s Truth:

I am not worthless. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. My identity and worth are found in Him.

And here’s the question I want you to sit with today:

💭 If you truly believed that your worth was determined by what Christ did for you—not by what you have done, what you’ve failed to do, or what other people think of you—how would you see yourself differently?

Don’t just answer quickly. Sit with that one.

✨ NO. 15: The 20 Cans of Success ✨

What if contentment isn’t about having everything you want, but learning to trust God with everything you have?

📖 CAN OF SUCCESS No. 15:

Why should I be discontented when I, like Paul, can learn to be content in all my circumstances?
— Philippians 4:11
📖 We read Philippians 4:10-14

Paul wasn’t saying that every circumstance was easy or that he never experienced hardship.

He was saying that he had learned how to be content regardless of his circumstances.

And that’s the part that stood out to me:

Contentment is something we learn.

We live in a world constantly telling us we need more.

More money.
More success.
More possessions.
More recognition.
A better relationship.
A better body.
A better life.

But what if we stopped allowing what we don’t have to steal our joy from what God has already given us?

Contentment doesn’t mean you stop dreaming, growing, or believing God for more.

It means you can trust God while you’re waiting for more.

You can have goals without being controlled by dissatisfaction.

You can desire change without despising your current season.

You can believe God for what’s next while still thanking Him for where you are today.

✨ Today’s Truth:

I can learn to be content in all circumstances because my contentment is found in Christ, not in my circumstances.

I’M FINALLY TELLING MY STORY. 💜🦋

There was a time when I never imagined I would have the courage to share some of the things I’ve walked through. But God has a way of taking the very places that once brought us pain and turning them into testimonies of His faithfulness.

I’m so honored to be one of the authors featured in Our Journey to Wholeness: Volume One, where I had the opportunity to share a piece of my testimony.

This story is personal. It’s vulnerable. It’s a part of my journey toward healing, wholeness and freedom in Christ. And I can’t wait for you to read it.

More than anything, I hope my story reminds you that your story matters too.

You don’t have to hide what you’ve survived. You don’t have to be ashamed of where you’ve been. And you never know who may find hope, strength, or permission to begin healing because you chose to tell the truth about your journey.

✨ No 14: The 20 Cans of Success ✨
Have you ever felt like life was just working against you?

Like you were cursed?
Like you were a victim of bad luck?
Like no matter what you did, something always went wrong?

But what if God’s Word says something completely different?

📖 CAN OF SUCCESS No. 14:

Why should I feel accursed or that I am a victim of bad luck when the Bible says that Christ redeemed me from the curse of the law, that I may receive His Spirit?
— Galatians 3:10-14

Christ didn’t come just to make our lives better.

He came to redeem us.

Galatians reminds us that Christ took the curse upon Himself so that we could receive the blessing and the promise of the Spirit through faith.

That means I don’t have to walk around believing I’m cursed, doomed, or destined for failure.

My circumstances don’t get to define my future.
My past doesn’t get to define my identity.
And “bad luck” doesn’t have the final say over my life.

Christ has redeemed me. 🙌🏾

✨ DAY 13: The 20 Cans of Success ✨

No. 13

Have you ever felt alone—even when you weren’t physically alone?

Sometimes loneliness isn’t about who’s around you. It’s about what you’re carrying on the inside.

But as believers, we have a promise that changes everything:

📖 CAN OF SUCCESS No. 13:

Why should I feel alone when Jesus said He is with me always and He will never leave me nor forsake me?
— Matthew 28:20 & Hebrews 13:5-6

You may feel alone, but you are never alone.

Jesus promised to be with us always.

When you don’t know what to do—He’s there.
When you’re walking through uncertainty—He’s there.
When you feel forgotten—He’s there.
When you don’t have the words to pray—He’s there.

God’s presence isn’t dependent on your feelings. His promise is His promise.

And if God is with you, you have everything you need to keep going.

✨ Today’s Truth:

I am never alone. Jesus is with me always, and He will never leave me nor forsake me.

And today, this series is getting a little more special because my husband is officially joining me for the remainder of the 20 Cans of Success! 🥹❤️

✨ NO. 12: The 20 Cans of Success ✨

Have you ever made a mistake and then spent days—or even years—beating yourself up over it?

Replaying it.
Feeling guilty.
Feeling ashamed.
Convincing yourself that God couldn’t possibly forgive you.

But what if you’re carrying a punishment that Jesus already paid for?

📖 CAN OF SUCCESS No. 12:

Why should I feel condemned when the Bible says I am not condemned because I am in Christ?
— Romans 8:1

Condemnation means being declared guilty, wrong, or unfit for use.

But Romans 8 tells us that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Jesus paid the price.

He took the punishment for our sin when He died on the cross, so we don’t have to continue living under the weight of guilt and condemnation.

Does that mean we never make mistakes? No.

But it means our mistakes don’t have the final word about who we are.

Conviction can lead us back to God.
Condemnation tells us to run away from Him.

You are not your worst mistake.
You are not your past.
You are not disqualified.

If you belong to Christ, you are forgiven, redeemed, and free. ❤️

✨ Today’s Truth:

There is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

So stop punishing yourself for what Jesus already paid for.

Receive His forgiveness.
Walk in His grace.
And remember who you are in Christ.
